Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), which
provides account protection for the net equity
of your clients’ securities positions up to $500,000 (including cash claims limited to $100,000).
In addition, through our association with Pershing, which is a founding member of the Customer Asset Protection Company (CAPCO), a licensed
insurance company, your client accounts held at
Pershing are also insured for the net equity value in excess of the SIPC coverage. This insurance does not, of course, cover declines in the market value
of your clients’ investments. |
